The Ending Summer Holiday.

Ladies and gentlemen,
Please take a seat and have your favourite beverage at hand, and may I also suggest listening to some calm soothing music. This may take some time.

With only less than 2 weeks before I go back to Swansea to go out on the final leg of my final year of BSc Multimedia, I just felt like doing a long blog entry :)

This summer has passed reasonably quickly, old memories have faded away, and new ones are about to start.

Most of my hours have been spent in front of my computer, planning the final year project, typing the story of the film that i'm gonna direct; upon return to the Institute. Currently, i've put the project on hold because I've just finished some work in some harsh conditions in London, and i really need time to chill out...(more details about the job in London later).
So far, the story is called Corridor,
The concept is that when a person go to sleep, your mind gets put into an infinite corridor, then you enter any one of the doors to your dream.
However, the main character isn't so lucky, he can't dream because all the doors in the corridor are locked. So for the duration of his sleep, he's stuck in the this infinite corridor, and has been since he could remember.

With this concept in mind, i believe that i could spawn off small stories.
Time will tell.

....Okay, so maybe this blog entry wasn't as long as I made it out to be.
I'm not feeling as typative as i initially thought.

Don't worry, there will be more.

Adieu

It's that time of year again.

Yep, its Mark's 22nd Birthday.

Again, his present is just a mention in my blog, and probably gonna send him a digital message in some shape or form.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Mark. Hope you got some good toys :)

Employment, yay :P

Last week, I embarked on my first taste of paid employment whilst on my summer holiday.

Worked for a injection moulding factory called R.W. Simon for 5 days. (only 5 days because thats what the contract said, better than nothing I guess.)

Work started at 3:40pm and didn't end till 11:40pm.
My work consisted of:

Repeat(0)

Repeat(1)

-Pick up piece of moulded plastic from the tub which the machine continuously spits into.

-Inspect, then pull it apart into its 3 individual components.

-Construct the 2 relevant parts using the jig provided.

-Get a plastic bag sheath that's been prepacked with screws and fittings.
-Insert the components into the plastic sheath.

-Seal the sheath shut.
-Put into box.

Until(1) box contains 50 of the damn things.

Tape the box shut, stick a numbered label onto box and sign it.
Put box onto pallet.

Until(0) shift ends

Most of you programmers should understand my syntax :P

And here's a vid if you really want to see it in live action. B)
Kai doing the jig...thing
It's in 3GP format, or you can rename the extension to MP4 if it don't work.
Quicktime should be able to play this file without fuss.
