The End of the Corridor?

Kai ain't in a good mood at all.

The viva presentation which I had yesterday would be something i'd rather forget.

Corridor, the project which had so much effort put into it, got chucked back in my face.

Why? because my gantt chart was a joke (my reason is because it allows me to be flexible), because i don't know who my audience is, who am i doing this for? Who would want to watch this film?
Well, my answer was made up, "It's for the audience that want to pursue watching the full thing after watching this trailer"

I just lost it when the lecturer (who doesn't want my project to succeed) asked repeatedly, and i barked back, "who doe's it look like its for??? (judging by the trailer you just watched?)"

"WE(!) ask the questions, not you..."

Fine.

As it stands, I think the department believes that i'm dangerously close to doing a BA project.

Right, BA's can get away with doing a film.
What i'm trying to do is make a Film AND make it an interactive media for the web or DVD. Now that requires coding which isn't exactly a bunch of GOTO's.
Oh, another thing, won't that pretty much cover a load about what Multimedia is about? Filming, Lighting, Editing, Music Composing, 3D, Compositing, Rendering, Image manipulating, Programming in a multimedia language such as Actionscript?

I want to go to an employer with my BSc Multimedia degree and say, I made this film, and made it interactive on other media. I did all of the above.

I don't want to go to an employer with my BSc Multimedia degree after doing an ASP/PHP website which doe's some maths server side and looks pretty. All that means is that I can make a pretty ASP/PHP website that can put numbers together and spit out an answer on the client side. Why don't i do a bloody web design degree?

I want a BSc Multimedia degree's worth!!!

Anyway, here's my latest (and possibly final) trailer. Thanks to matt for his help in editing.
Trailer 4 (18.1mb - 2.54mins DivX)
